Meet the Founders

Rashid Jehangir

Rashid Jehangir has been following the AV Industry for over 20 years and is an audiophile, videophile and a first and foremost a music lover himself. He has been in involved in designing and recommending AV System solutions for over 10 years in the region as a trusted advisor to many.

Rashid was the Lead Project Manager (Infrastructure) at Microsoft Consulting Services (Gulf and Eastern Mediterranean) where he has successfully managed strategic Information Technology projects for Microsoft Consulting Services which included the roll out of leading edge Microsoft technologies at many large corporations and government entities in the region. Prior to this, Rashid worked for the Cupola Group in various capacities and was involved in key deals and franchise acquisitions, working directly for Mr. Arif Naqvi and his executive team. Rashid was also the Information Technology Special Projects Manager at Cupola where he helped set up the IT element of their Plastic Cards and Call Center Facilities.

Prior to joining Cupola, Rashid worked with ANZ Grindlays Bank where he was a member of the Regional Retail Lending Team.

Sunil Gopal

Sunil was the Head of Professional Services at Microsoft Gulf and Eastern Mediterranean, where he successfully developed the Microsoft Professional Services business and grew the business and developed a high performance organization. Sunil is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer with a focus on messaging services and deep understanding of Information Technology infrastructure and was the Exchange Server product lead for the local Microsoft subsidiary before he took over the Professional Services business.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Sunil was the Business Manager at a Lotus Premium Partner that focused on workflow solutions based on Lotus Notes and Microsoft’s BackOffice Suite. Sunil spent over 5 years with Dow Jones in various capacities, such as Customer Support, Sales and Product Marketing.
