Our Background

With Dubai fast becoming the regional hub with excellent supporting infrastructure, Imagine Technologies aims to develop a distribution channel for high performance Audio Visual equipment and related solutions, a Retail Business, and a System Integration business in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates), India and Pakistan. Imagine Technologies is building 3 distinct divisions, Imagine Distribution, Imagine Sound & Vision, and Imagine Design Services. The following are their respective roles:

• Imagine Distribution represents brands of state of the art, media room audio visual, smart home equipment and related products, and provides market and distribution channel development and management services for our principals for a fee.

• Imagine Sound & Vision retails state of the art, media room audio visual and smart home equipment and solutions via a showcase environment by providing the discerning buyer advice and an opportunity to experience the products and technologies on a first hand basis.

• Imagine Design Services provides state of the art, media room and smart home solution design, planning and implementation services. It strives to make cutting edge, cost no object, media room and smart home technology available to the discerning buyer via very intuitive interfaces and abstraction of complexity.

The founders of Imagine Technologies are Rashid Jehangir and Sunil Gopal. After having experienced the Consumer Electronics and specifically, the high-end Audio/Video industry from a consumer perspective in the Middle East region for over 10 years, the founders of Imagine Technologies clearly saw the market need to develop the supporting channel, consulting services capabilities and the related solution offerings available to the end consumer in the region, they decided to leave their very successful careers at Microsoft Gulf & Eastern Mediterranean to setup Imagine Technologies in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Both founders are individuals who have deep technology consulting & support services business and delivery experience. In addition to the above, they have experience in areas such as Financial Services, Banking, Marketing, Distribution Channel Development and real-time Financial Market Data Delivery. Combined with this knowledge is their tremendous passion for media room and smart home solutions and related technologies. The founders have also been end consumers and followers of the Consumer Electronics and specifically the High Performance Audio/Video industry for over 20 years. With networked Custom Home Installation solutions being what the future holds in store, the founders’ knowledge and understanding of “convergence” solutions and their Professional Services background are critical factors in shaping the future and success of Imagine Technologies.
